Founded in 2017, the Encinitas Boardriders Club has grown into a community of 369 members united by a shared love of surfing and the culture that surrounds it. Built around the strong surf community of Encinitas, the club brings surfers and families together through friendly competition, camaraderie, and a passion for the ocean. The Boardriders gives local surfers a chance to represent their hometown, compete alongside friends, and be part of something bigger than themselves. With the support of longtime surf brands and local supporters including Hansen Surfboards, O’Neill, Reef, and Sun Bum, the club continues to grow and strengthen its community. At its heart, Encinitas Boardriders is about bringing people together, celebrating the local surf culture, and carrying that spirit into the next generation.
