Baja Board Riders
The BSC is the first organized surf club in Mexico.
It was founded in 1965 at San Miguel Beach, in Ensenada, Baja California. The founding members were: Nacho Felix, Carlos Hernandez, and Walter Rudametkin.
The goals were to organize regional and national tournaments, explore the Mexican coast, participate in contests and organize an international contest inviting the main surfing stars and clubs of California, Hawaii, and Peru.
After more than 50 years of absence the Baja Surf Club was reborn in 2015.
Today, the Baja Surf Club is a cornerstone of the Southern California and Baja California surf community.
Our team is eager to make a significant impact on the future of surfing. Together, we aim to inspire a love for the sport in generations to come.
We are excited and honored to be part of the West Coast Board Riders South Region competition series.
